Analogue Photo House, Palermo
A study of the facade for a centre of analogue photography.
The facade is thought as a cast semi translucent wall. The wall is shaped to be thick in certain areas and thin in others, thereby altering the amount of transmitted light.
The wall furthermore has large apertures which collect light and reflect it to separate floors of the building, providing natural light to a facade facing a dark corner in a dense urban neighbourhood.
The model has been modelled in 3d and then rapid-prototyped using a 3d plaster printer.
